Ian Lewis was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He is currently a student at Jacksonville State University, where he is working on his bachelors degree in music education with a focus in saxophone. He has performed with the JSU Marching Southerners, Chamber Winds, and Symphonic Band.

Ian began his color guard experience with the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps in 2009. He continued on the march with Carolina Crown in 2010 and 2011.

Ian has also performed with Aureus Independent and Paramount Independent winter guards. He has also taught and choreographed with WGI regional finalist Central Carroll High School.

Ian has a great passion for the marching arts and is eager to share the passion he has received from them with others.
